Lisa Makrides, MD

Lisa Makrides, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and board-certified laser specialist. She opened Long Island Beauty MD in April 2008, after recognizing the need for compassionate, physician-performed cosmetic medicine. Dr. Makrides attended Thomas Jefferson University Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, where she was a medical scholar, after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Delaware. Upon graduation from medical school, she did a surgical internship at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT. Her anesthesia training was completed at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. Armed with her anesthetic and surgical background, she pursued advanced training in laser technologies in order to help women and men achieve the best they can be.
